Beverly Hills has become shorthand for glamour. But when we saw that our South Beverly cafe had such good bones, we knew we didn’t want to change much, not even to fit in with the luxe environs. This cafe, courtesy of wrk-shp, strives for simplicity above all things.

Inspired by Central Europe’s first-ever coffee house, The Blue Bottle, Blue Bottle Coffee serves the purpose of getting great coffee to everyone who asks for it. Dedicated to freshness and peak flavor, only the finest and most responsibly sourced beans are used to serve brews less than 48 hours out of the roaster.

Acoustically designed to absorb sound, it’s an excellent spot for a leisurely chat with friends over your favorite espresso drinks, pour-over coffee, and cold brews. Relaxing in this vernal escape (perhaps with only a book and one of our pastries for company), you might even forget the neighborhood’s glittering past and glitzy present.
