Women's Self Defense Event at The Beverly Hilton

Partake in a series of self-defense classes hosted by 4th degree black belt and Miss USA 2015, Nia Sanchez. The workshops include self-defense and empowerment workshops for women.  The iconic Beverly Hilton, home of the Golden Globes and over 150 red carpet events a year, plays host to this year’s conference inside their brand-new garden event space.

Nia is a fourth-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and has trained in other martial art disciplines including Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai. Nia Sanchez is also the Goodwill Ambassador for The World Tae Kwon Do Federation, and she has been teaching women’s self-defense for 5 years now. To date, she has trained well over tens of thousands of women across the US in high schools, colleges, and women’s shelters.

Proceeds from this event will go to Self-Defense by Nia, that supports empowering battered and/or abused women, as well as hosts workshops to help young girls dealing with low self-esteem.
