"Picasso in Color" is the largest Pablo Picasso exhibition of graphic works in the U.S. taking place at the famed Galerie Michael. A rare collection of 60 newly-discovered, unique groundbreaking color masterpiece graphic artworks on paper, by artist Pablo Picasso, acquired from across the globe, represents a top landmark museum-quality fine art exhibition in the United States that’s been years in the making. This extraordinary, never-before-seen collection is an opportunity to view and acquire an original work from one of the greatest masters of all time. Displayed throughout the walls of gallery, the pieces showcase the breadth of Picasso’s skills, mastery and genius in linoleum cuts, etchings, lithographs, drawings and aquatints. This is one of the greatest collections ever presented to view Pablo Picasso’s artistry that created a bounty of artistic riches that changed the face of the art world eternally. Part of the reason works by Pablo Picasso maintain their value more than any other artist is that his practice can be broken down into multiple selling categories over his nearly eight-decade-long career, with multiple celebrated phases, each boasting coveted masterworks.

18 months in the making, Galerie Michael has put together a remarkable selection of 60 unique and rare works on paper by Picasso, with an additional 400 works by Picasso in its inventory and available for purchase. See the unveiling of Picasso’s Portrait de Jacqueline au fauteuil, 1958.  First time the public gets to view this rare work of art, having been hidden for more than 50 years.

“Picasso in Color" is open for viewing and acquiring February 16, 2019 through March 31, 2019. The exhibit is free of charge. Tickets for docent tours are $10 for adults and $5 for students on weekends. All proceeds from the tours and a portion of sales on March 20 to March 21, 2019 go to the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Complimentary two-hour valet parking is located beneath the Galerie at Two Rodeo (access through Dayton Way).

  • Sunday; 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Docent Tours:

  • Every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 p.m.
  • $10 per adult, $5 per student (all proceeds go to a local charity)
