Beverly Hills CVB Receives 2007 Pinnacle
Award
Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau is honored to have
received the prestigious 2007 Pinnacle Award from Successful
Meetings magazine. This recognition is given to those
organizations that have done an outstanding job servicing meetings,
incentive travel programs, trade shows and conventions at their
destination during the previous year. CVBs are evaluated by
meeting planners in four categories: Area Group Amenities;
Quality/Availability, Information; Quality/Variety, Services &
Facilities; and Service/Responsiveness of Staff. Beverly
Hills CVB is pleased to have received perfect 10s in each
category.
Beverly Hills CVB Honored with WACVB Best Idea Program
Award
Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau was recently
honored with the 2008 Best Idea Program Award by the Western
Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus (WACVB) - an award
given to a total of four convention and visitors bureaus in the
Western U.S. and Canada. BHCVB received the award for its
"Walking in the Footsteps of Celebrities" Walking Tour program and
brochure. BHCVB's goal was to create an interactive
opportunity for visitors, allowing them to experience the
extraordinary venues in Beverly Hills, many of which have garnered
attention because of the celebrities that frequent them.
WACVB's Best Idea Program honor is awarded to those CVBs
demonstrating the most creative marketing strategies - more than
140 CVBs submitted entries for consideration. (Beverly Hills)
Stephanie Nakasone of Beverly Hills CVB Receives
Friendly City Award
In January 2011, Stephanie Nakasone, Business Development Director
for Beverly Hills Conference and Visitors Bureau, was honored with
a Friendly City Award, given to an individual who has demonstrated
superb customer service and made the visitor experience a friendly
one in the City of Beverly Hills. The award is presented in City
Council chambers in the presence of the Beverly Hills City
Council.
